Ginger Chicken Stir-Fry

Chinese · 27m · 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1.1 lb chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.7 oz fresh ginger
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 10.6 oz broccoli
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1⅝ cups (300g) rice
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil

Steps

  1. Rinse the rice and start it cooking. Slice chicken into strips. Mix with 1 tbsp soy sauce.
  2. Heat a wok or large pan until smoking. Film with oil. Sear the chicken in a single layer; set aside.
  3. Stir-fry onion, ginger, and garlic 30 seconds, then the broccoli, with a splash of water so it steams.
  4. Return the chicken. Add remaining soy sauce. Toss 1 minute until glossy. Serve over rice.

Everything should be cut before the pan is hot. High heat, short time.
